The Medicaid Personal Care Program includes hands-on, in-home services provided for those who are medically and financially eligible. A medical assessment is completed by a physician. Residents of Wayne or Lincoln County, WV, who require assistance with personal care tasks (bathing, eating, hygiene, etc.) and who are eligible for Medicaid may be eligible for our Personal Care or Homemaker Services. We offer a short-term in-home respite care service for unpaid caregivers in Lincoln & Wayne counties. This program is designed to provide a little relief for family members who are providing full-time care for frail, older family members with medical and/or behavioral issues.

Meet LCOC Employee Amy Wiley!
Amy has worked for LCOC for almost 2 years and is currently a Permanent Sub Caregiver.
Amy and her fiancé, Jason, share 8 children. Amy enjoys spending time with her family, riding ATVs, fishing, and watching horror movies.
Amy says what she likes most about her job with LCOC is she likes to help the elderly in the community. She hopes to make an impact on someone’s life as you may never know how significant caring for someone may truly be.

Meet LCOC Employee Crystal Porter!
Crystal has worked for LCOC as a registered nurse for 8 years.
Crystal is the proud mother of a 16-year-old son, Isaiah. In her spare time, she enjoys watching Isaiah play tennis, traveling, touring MLB ballparks with her son, spending time with her great niece, and going to church at Lincoln Church of God.
Crystal says she has always had a special place in her heart for the elderly and what she loves most about her job is being able to go do home visits with seniors to check on them.

At Ceredo Senior Center, there are many opportunities to get involved. We are always looking for volunteers to help with making the center a fun, beneficial place where older Wayne County adults can enjoy a hot meal, socialize, and maintain an active, independent lifestyle. Whether you are a community member of any age or an older adult yourself, we invite you to share a favorite hobby, teach a class, help with a fundraiser, or help us help you and your neighbors with a wide range of essential tasks. We are People Helping People in Wayne County.
