Serving Seniors In Lincoln and Wayne County, WV
Lincoln County Opportunity Company, Inc. operates several nutrition programs for seniors throughout Lincoln and Wayne County, WV. Our congregate lunch and home-delivered meal menus have been established by a registered dietician to provide the high-quality nutrition older adults need while meeting regional food preferences. Each meal provides 1/3 of the USDA recommended daily allowance of vitamins and minerals. These hot, delicious meals are available to help maintain and restore health while promoting socialization.
Lunch Meals
Join us for lunch at your nearest senior center weekdays at noon. Lincoln and Wayne County senior centers are located in Hamlin, Harts, Wayne, and Huntington, WV. Transportation is available from your home to your nearest Senior Center and back.
Home-Delivered Meals
If you are temporarily homebound, we can deliver lunch to you. Home-delivered meals support your nutritional status when your health is compromised due to illness or injury. You also benefit from the daily safety check.
Nutrition Assessments & Diet Instruction
Our on-site registered nurse can provide nutrition assessments and instruction on specific diets. The nurse can also refer you to a registered dietitian, if you desire this.
